The cold is dry—not wet like an ice bath—so it’s much more tolerable. Most clients describe the sensation as intense but invigorating. It lasts just 3–5 minutes and is closely monitored. Many people feel energised and refreshed straight after.

The cryotherapy chamber reaches around –85°C. While that sounds extreme, the dry air makes it feel manageable, and most people adjust within seconds. The cold stays on the surface of the skin, so it doesn’t penetrate deep like ice.

Yes! Cryotherapy is suitable for beginners, and our team will guide you through every step. We’ll explain what to expect, ensure you’re comfortable, and stay with you throughout the session for safety and support.

You’ll wear undergarments or swimwear or shorts, along with gloves, socks, and slippers —which we provide. Please ensure your skin is clean and dry, with no moisturisers, oils, or jewellery.

Yes. Cryotherapy is not suitable for those with:
Pregnancy
High blood pressure
Acute or recent myocardial infarction
Unstable angina
Arrhythmia,
Symptomatic cardiovascular disease
Respiratory disease
Cardiac pacemaker
Peripheral arterial occlusive disease
Heart valve defects
Vasculitis
Hypothyroidism, with a high sensitivity to cold
Recent heart surgery
Venous thrombosis
Acute or recent cerebrovascular accident
Uncontrolled seizures
Severe Raynaud’s Syndrome
Fever or chest infection
Symptomatic lung disorders
Bleeding disorders
Severe anaemia
Infection
Cold-allergy
Acute kidney and urinary tract diseases
Pregnancy
Cancer or currently undergoing cancer treatment
If you have any of the above, then the treatment is not suitable for you. If you have another medical condition and are unsure whether it is safe for you then we advise you to check with your doctor before booking your appointment. In some cases a doctors letter may be required.
You will need to complete a form including medical questionnaire confirming you have none of the above before using the Cryo chamber.

Yes—Whole Body Cryotherapy is available to clients aged 18 and over. We may accept clients aged 16–17 with parental consent. It is not suitable for anyone under 16.
