WHOLE BODY CRYOTHERAPY

Whole Body Cryotherapy  involves exposing your  entire body to extremely cold temperatures (-85 degrees C) for 3-4 minutes in our state of the art Cryotherapy chamber.  During this time, your skin temperature rapidly cools and your body’s natural ‘fight or flight’ response is initiated.  This process stimulates a number of powerful physiological reactions that can help your body repair, recover and reinvigorate as well as elevate your mood and boost your energy levels.

We are proud and excited to be the first to offer this incredible, safe, fast and non-invasive therapy in Sussex.

HOW IT WORKS

Whole body Cryotherapy uses extreme cold as a STIMULUS to trigger a  REACTION in the brain, leading to the ADAPTATION of the body to the new environment. After stepping out of the chamber, the RESTORATION  process begins.

It is through this 4 stage process that Whole Body Cryotherapy can successfully unlock your body's incredible natural ability to heal and restore.

WHAT TO EXPECT

FIRST VISIT

Step 1: In-Take Consultation

If it is your first Whole Body Cryotherapy session, you will be required to have an in-take consultation with one of our friendly, fully trained, Whole Body Cryotherapy operators.

During the short in-take consultation, we will collect your basic health information (blood pressure, height, weight, temperature), go through some medical questions (to ensure you do not have any pre existing conditions that may prevent you from using Whole Body Cryotherapy) and discuss what you hope to achieve from the therapy.

Step 2: Initial Exposure Session.

Following the in-take consultation, you will be asked to get changed and undergo an initial exposure session in the cryotherapy chamber. This will access your cold susceptibility and comfort. What makes having Whole Body Cryotherapy at CryoBright unique is our medically approved software. Our software takes into account all of the information gathered during the in-take consultation and initial exposure session and creates a personalised treatment protocol for you to follow.

SUBSEQUENT VISITS

Step 1: We will check with you to see whether anything has changed since your in-take consultation.

If your health or medical history has changed you will be required to undergo another in-take consultation, if not, then you are good to go.

Step 2: Get changed into the appropriate clothing.

Cryotherapy works on the body’s reaction to the cold, so it is essential that 90% of your skin is exposed. However, certain areas of your body must be protected, therefore you will be given the following to wear during your treatment:

Men – shorts, socks, slippers, gloves, protection for your ears and a facemask.

Women – shorts, sports bra, socks, slippers, gloves, protection for your ears and a facemask.

We have a range of sizes and all clothing is washed after every use. If you would rather wear your own shorts / sports bra then that’s absolutely fine too, please bring it along to your appointment with you.

Step 3: Step inside the chamber and your session will begin.

You will enter our fully electric, state-of-the-art V1 Lux Whole Body Cryotherapy chamber for between 3-4 minutes (depending on the recommendations of our medically approved software).

Our Whole Body Cryotherapy chamber, the V1 Lux, is one of the coldest electronically cooled chambers on the market. Extremely safe, efficient and 100% German-engineered.

All of our services are non-invasive & non-medical procedures for those who are seeking to naturally improve health and wellness. Although they can offer relief from symptoms, they are not intended to diagnose or cure any injury or disease.
