MLD Massage
Gentle Relief.
Deep Reset.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a light, rhythmic massage technique designed to stimulate the flow of lymph fluid, helping to clear toxins, reduce swelling, and promote deep relaxation.
It’s ideal for those recovering from surgery, managing fluid retention, bloating or looking to reset the body’s internal balance. At Cryobright, MLD is delivered by experienced therapists trained to adapt the treatment to your specific needs.
Reduce Swelling. Support Detox. Restore Balance.
Your lymphatic system plays a key role in removing waste, toxins, and excess fluid from the body. Unlike the circulatory system, it doesn’t have a pump — it relies on movement, muscle contractions, and breath.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage uses precise, wave-like strokes to gently guide fluid through the lymph vessels toward the body’s main drainage points, improving lymph flow, reducing fluid build-up, and supporting detoxification and immune health.

-
Yes. MLD is widely used to help manage symptoms of lymphedema, especially to reduce swelling and heaviness in the arms or legs. If you're under medical care, we recommend speaking with your consultant before starting regular sessions.
-
Yes—MLD is commonly recommended after cosmetic, orthopaedic, or lymph node surgery to reduce swelling and speed healing. You should wait until your surgeon or consultant confirms you're ready to begin treatment (usually within days to weeks post-op).
-
Many clients feel lighter, less swollen, or more relaxed after just one session. However, lasting results—especially for lymphedema or post-surgical healing—often require a series of treatments.
-
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothes. You may undress for the session (you’ll be covered with towels), or remain in light clothing depending on your comfort level and treatment area.
-
It’s common to feel more relaxed, sleepy, or to urinate more frequently after treatment (a sign of detox). Stay well hydrated after your session, and avoid intense activity for a few hours if possible.
-
